The Class of 2010 - and other updates from the Breeding Shed...

As Bukett failed to get in foal in 2008, she was covered quite early in 2009, so will give birth to a foal by Silvano on mid-february. She is already sporting a massive belly - photos to follow soon.
Belle Fee wasn´t covered in 2009, so no foal this year, but will head back for a mating this season. We are pondering options for her as well, and she might well go back to Toylsome, as Betty is such a smashing foal.

21.02.2010

Bukett gave birth to a little chestnut colt tonight, whom we call Bernie for time being. He is not very tall, but stocky, and was very quick on his feet, and at the bar. Mother and son are fit & well, very well in the case of Bukett, who looked massiv beforehand and must now be wondering what it was all about with this little fellow at her feet. Unfortunatly the weather continues to play harvoc up here, so both are restricted to the box for time being.
